A young Nigerian couple, Gbede Senenge and Joy, have decided to spend one of the happiest days in their lives with people who have a lot of bad days.
Many times, weddings are big deals in Nigeria and the occasion is usually spent with family members and loved ones. However, a young Nigerian couple have decided to do things in an unconventional but pleasing different way.
Gbede Senenge and his wife, Joy, celebrated one of the happiest days in their lives with people who do not have a lot of happy days.
The couple got married at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Benue state and it is said to be the first wedding to take place at that location.
Photos from the special occasion have been shared on social media as people praised the couple for their thoughtful gesture and kindness.
The groom, Gbede, has been known to visit IDP camps in the past under the umbrella of an organisation to provide relief materials for the refugees. This is lovely. There is still hope for humanity.
