Shatta Wale endorses his New Name ”Shatta Ikechukwu Wale” given to him by Tonto Dikeh

Multiple Award-winning dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah popularly known as Shatta Wale has officially endorsed his new name “Shatta Ikechukwu Wale” given to him by Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh.

It would be recalled that Shatta Wale announced on his social media page that he is now a Nigerian after obtaining a Nigerian passport. His declaration came on the back of the controversy of American pop star Cardi B’s visit to Ghana and Nigeria.

While Cardi B had a smooth show in Nigeria, she was met with some challenges in Ghana due to miscommunication, poor organization amongst other things.

Shatta Wale who was displeased about how some Ghanaian celebrities reacted to Cardi B’s visit took to his Twitter page to blast them.
He then declared himself a Nigerian after obtaining their passport.

Reacting to this, Tonto Dikeh offered to give him a new name to officially accept him into the Naija family.

Tonto Dikeh named him “Shatta Ikechukwu Wale”.

Shatta Wale has since replied to Tonto and has officially endorsed his new name.
