“Starboy no dey endorse no Fake Pastor” – Wizkid distances himself from COZA Promotional Video

"Starboy no dey endorse any Fake Pastor" - Wizkid fires shot at Davido and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo

Popular international pop star, Wizkid has weighed in on the trending promotional video which has one of his colleagues in it.

Nigerians on social media have been reacting to a promotional video which Davido made for Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) founded by controversial Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

The artiste has been receiving a lot of backlashes since the video surfaced online, Davido through his official Twitter handle has reacted to the video claiming that he did the video for a fan and not the church.

According to Davido, he made the video for the little girl who was with him in the video, he also threatens to sue the Church if the video was not pulled down.

Pastor Fatoyinbo has since pulled down the video from his page and the mother of the girl in the video has also come out to back Davido’s claim.

However, most Nigerians still believe Davido did the video consciously but didn’t expect it to backfire the way it did online.

Wizkid has also come out to distance himself from any promotional video from the church.

Apparently, some members of COZA recorded several videos in which celebrities were asked to talk about God, the church members later edited the video to make a promotional video without the consent of the celebrities.

The ‘Joro’ crooner revealed that he will never do any promotional video for any fake pastor.
