Instagram has suspended the account of a Los Angeles model for allegedly violating the platform’s nudity guidelines.

Kaylen Ward, 20, who calls herself ‘The Naked Philanthropist’ revealed on Monday afternoon, that she has raised $700,000 to fight the raging Australian bush fires by selling nude photos to her followers.

She first tweeted on Sunday that anyone who sent her proof of donating at least $10 to help fight the fires would receive a direct message containing a nude photo.

Despite using her social media presence to raise money for Australia, her Instagram page was deactivated.

Speaking with BuzzFeed News, she said: “I was expecting to raise maybe $1,000 but the tweet blew up.”

“I was seeing all the posts on Twitter about the Australian fires and I was really concerned there wasn’t a lot of media coverage and not a lot of people donating,” she said.

She later took to Twitter to confirm that her Instagram account got deactivated.

“My IG got deactivated, my family disowned me, and the guy I like won’t talk to me all because of that tweet,” she wrote on Twitter. “But fuck it, save the koalas.”

The Australia wildfires have caused alot of damage to the country’s wildlife and infrastructure as well as claiming 25 lives since the fire began.  According to experts, they will likely continue to blaze for months, despite an estimated 2,300 firefighters, many of whom are volunteers, working around the clock to battle the flames.
