A savage Youtube prankster made Katie Hopkins fly from England to Prague to collect a fake award that spelt out an offensive word and Katie was none the wiser as she gave a speech accepting the fake award.

The English media personality is widely known for her controversial views that some say borders on hate and racism. She has also been known to attack Meghan Markle numerous times.

Well, her controversial views seem to have backfired. Yesterday, it was discovered that Twitter had suspended Katie’s account for violating its anti-hate policy.

Anti-racism campaigners had called for her to be removed from the platform, accusing her of using hate speech.

A spokesperson for Twitter said the firm was looking into the situation and was keeping Hopkins apprised at each step.

As people were still having conversations about her suspension, a popular YouTube prankster named Josh Pieters released a video where he made Katie fly out to Prague to accept a “completely fake” award for the 2020 Campaign to Unify the Nation Trophy (CUNT) Award.

Josh Pieters said the former Apprentice contestant flew to Prague to accept the trophy on Monday, January 27.

“Now that Katie Hopkins can’t read Twitter, I can tell you that on Monday I made her fly to Prague to pick up a completely fake award,” Pieters wrote before uploading the clip.

In footage from the “ceremony”, Hopkins – a far-right commentator – can be seen smiling with Pieters in front of a screen bearing the words “Campaign to Unify the Nation Trophy.” As she collects the award, the capital letters enlarge, spelling out the offensive C-word.

She then delivered a hateful speech, which saw her criticise and mock Muslims and Greta Thunberg.

“It’s strange to hear nice things being said about yourself,” she began her speech.

Speaking of how he pulled off the prank, Pieters said he succeeded in tricking Hopkins after setting up a fake website called “The Cape Town Collective for Freedom of Speech”.  He said he contacted Hopkins and said she would be “delighted” to accept the award.

The video has gone viral with some Twitter users praising him for giving Katie a taste of her own medicine. But some called him out and said nothing can justify calling a woman a “cunt”.
