Tacha reacts to the passing away of Kobe Bryant & the Conviction of Maryam Sanda

The month of January has no doubt taken an unexpected turn going by the negative events that have taken place and shaken a number of people to their cores.

The year 2020 started with a lot of people having high hopes and expecting that things will turn out better than the later months of 2019 which was synonymous with tragedies.

However, it seems the year 2020 has a mind of its own and the month of January alone has witnessed negative events that have left people with a chill feeling.

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, the world lost legendary basketball player, Kobe Bryant, and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, in a helicopter crash that also killed the seven other people on board.

Kobe Bryant was just 41 years old and he alongside his daughter and other families were going for basketball practice.

The news is no doubt a great tragedy. Also, Nigerians were shaken by the death sentence given to one Maryam Sanda, who stabbed her husband and killed him in 2017 during a jealous rage.

Maryam was sentenced to death by hanging and chilling footage emerged on social media of how she kept on calling on God as she tried to run out of the courtroom after she was convicted.

The negative news has been too much for a lot of people to handle including BBNaija 2019 star, Tacha. The young lady took to her Twitter page to react to Kobe’s death and Maryam’s death sentence.
