Why Burna Boy didn’t win the Grammy Award – Shade Ladipo

TV presenter, Shade Ladipo has given her opinion on the reason why singer Burna Boy was not given the award for the Best World Music Album category at the Grammy Awards.

It is no longer news that the singer lost to Angelique Kidjo who has been winning the award in the past years, for the same category.

Most of Burna Boy’s fans did not take the loss lightly as they believe he is more popular than the other singers in that category and he deserved to win. Some even stated that he was cheated by the award organizers.

Reacting to the protest, Shade Ladipo gave reasons why the Afrobeats singer was not cheated.

She shared a video she captioned:
