#CoronavirusInNigeria: Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and wives tests negative for COVID-19

Former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, and wives have tested negative for Coronavirus.

This was made known in a statement released by the former Monarch’s son, Ashraf, this afternoon.

Ashraf said his family has received many calls after some persons who have had close contacts with his father have tested positive for the virus.

Nigerians were concerned about the health status of Sanusi since he had close contact with governor Nasir El-Rufai who visited him in Nasarawa state where he was sent on exile to after his dethronement. El-Rufai tested positive for the virus.
