First Coronavirus patient in Ekiti State discharged after testing Negative

The first coronavirus patient recorded in Ekiti state has been discharged from the isolation centre after testing negative to the virus.

The Governor of the state, Kayode Fayemi made this known on Twitter and he revealed that the patient was discharged after testing negative to the virus twice.

The governor wrote;

“Thanks to our resilient health workers, Ekiti state’s #COVID19 patient has now been discharged. With this, Ekiti State has no coronavirus patient at its isolation center. #COVID19Nigeria”
