“How can you close your border for rice & open it for Coronavirus – Reno Omokri to President Buhari

Popular social media commentator and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has queried who would eat the rice President Muhammadu Buhari is protecting if coronavirus kills Nigerians.

Omokri made the comment via his official Twitter handle in reaction to the resolve of the federal government not to restrict flights from countries with prevalent cases of coronavirus.

Omokri said:

“How can you close your border for rice and open it for #CoronaVirus and have the audacity to call yourself a leader? If #COVID19 kills your citizens, who will eat the rice you are protecting? Are rice and fuel more important than human beings who will buy them?”
