Kano state government bans Almajiri Children from Street Begging

Five Almajiris recently repatriated from Kano to Kaduna state have tested positive for Coronavirus.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Health, Amina Mohammed-Baloni, who confirmed this, said the new patients have been moved to the Infectious Diseases Control Centre where they are receiving treatment. Kaduna state now has 9 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
