#Coronavirus: Drinking Salt, Ginger or Garlic Water does not prevent COVID-19 – NCDC warns Nigerians
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned Nigerians against using chloroquine as a treatment to cure coronavirus.
Since a good number of people have recovered from the virus, there have been reported treatments peddled by different sources as to how to cure the deadly virus.
With a cure for the virus yet to be found, many Nigerians have been resorting to taking chloroquine in a bid to treat the infection.
The NCDC in a tweet posted on Monday, April 13, rubbished some of these tips, warning Nigerians to not take chloroquine as it has not yet been approved for the treatment of COVID-19 in the country.
