#Coronavirus: Federal Ministry of Finance pleads for Assistance of 100 to 500 Ventilators from Elon Musk on Twitter; Nigerians react

The Federal Ministry of Finance is currently being dragged to filth by Nigerians on social media after the ministry pleaded for the assistance of 100 to 500 ventilators from tech Billionaire, Elon Musk.

Elon Musk had announced his intention of shipping FDA-approved ventilators to hospitals worldwide within Tesla delivery regions in his effort to battle the global pandemic, coronavirus.

His tweet reads;

We have extra FDA-approved ventilators. Will ship to hospitals worldwide within Tesla delivery regions. Device & shipping cost are free. Only requirement is that the vents are needed immediately for patients, not stored in a warehouse. Please let me or @Tesla know.

The official handle of the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Finance then replied the tweet stating the country needed 100 to 500 ventilators ;

Dear @elonmusk @Tesla, Federal Government of Nigeria needs support with 100-500 ventilators to assist with #Covid19 cases arising every day in Nigeria.

However, Nigerians frowned at the tweet and tagged it shameful for the Ministry to make such a demand despite the fact that many Billionaires pledged/donated funds to meet such needs.
