Burna Boy said that Nigerians deserve everything they are going through. We earlier reported that the office of the accountant-general of the federation caught fire.

It was gathered that the fire started from around the third floor, razing the building upwards including the accountant-general office and most of the important offices.

Reacting to the fire incidence, Burna Boy took to his page on the photo-sharing app, Instagram, to taunt Nigerians. In the video he shared online, the singer and his friend were seen laughing as they recorded themselves.

Acting as if he suspected a foul play with the fire at the finance office, the singer said that Nigerians will suffer.

He noted that the funds donated to combat COVID-19 and also to help feed some Nigerians have been disbursed, however, he funnily stated that the money has caught fire.

Burna Boy urged Nigerian youths who tweeted at the NCDC to arrest actress Funke Akindele to also use their energy to call out corrupt politicians.

He said:

“Naija hello. You see the new one? Accountant-general’s office has caught fire. The finance office has caught fire. They have disbursed funds, fire has caught it. For everything happening in Nigeria, Nigerians deserve it. If the youths or the people on Twitter can use the same energy that you use to tweet NCDC to arrest Funke Akindele, who is hustling to build her family. Use that same energy to tackle the politicians stealing your money. You will suffer. Just continue tagging. This is just the beginning.”
