Giant of Africa with mouth – Yemi Alade calls Nigeria ‘audio giant’ as other African countries give their Citizens Relief Packages
Yemi Alade has criticized Nigeria, describing the largest black nation as an audio giant.
Her statement is coming at a time that the world is battling the coronavirus pandemic which has forced nations including African countries to order a lockdown.
Amid the lockdown, presidents of countries like Namibia, Ghana, Guinea amongst others have been giving their citizens relief items and packages ranging from food to money, electricity and water.
However, Nigeria as the most populous black nation said it has shared monies to the poorest Nigerians but citizens still languish in suffering, crying that no family has received the items.
Yemi Alade who is visibly angry with the way the federal government is handling the welfare of citizens amid the lockdown, took to Twitter and referred to Nigeria as the ‘Giant of Africa with mouth’ She wrote;
“Giant of Africa with mouth ….. Naija – Audio Giant.”
