Man poisons 143 bags of garden eggs in Enugu (Photo)

A report made at the Central Police Station, Enugu, Enugu State on the 8th of April, 2020 prompted the police to arrest one Okonkwo Sunday, 52.

Sunday was reportedly arrested for allegedly emptying a can of a suspected toxic liquid substance on about 143 bags of garden eggs worth N729,000.00 at Akwata sub-market of the Ogbete Main Market.

Investigation to ascertain the real motive(s) of the suspect as well as apprehend and prosecute his accomplices to the crime is ongoing at the State Criminal Investigation Department.
