Power Supply: I think there’s a special kind of evil in Nigeria – Actress Dolly Unachukwu

”You don’t want to know how depressed most of us are in Nollywood” - Actress Dolly Nnachukwu

The issue of poor electricity supply in Nigeria remains one of the most fundamental issues in Nigeria and actress Dolly Unachukwu has some things to say about the issue.

The veteran actress who stated she has lived in the UK for close to 2 decades, revealed the power supply is very stable. She then questioned whether the lack of power supply in Nigeria is more than a leadership issue, suggesting it might be a ‘special evil’.

Part of her post reads: “How are we sure there isn’t a special kind of evil which our leaders themselves are finding so hard to contain? Can different cabinets keep failing Nigerians over and over again without a hidden reason?”

“To be in darkness helplessly for several years as a nation is a special kind of evil that warrants a special kind of investigation. Seriously, why can’t there be light in Nigeria?”

See post below:

This comes shortly after Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh, took to social media to passionately appeal to the government to fix up. The actress complained bitterly about how basic things such as electricity do not work in the country.

Ameh said that many people used everything they have on them to buy foodstuff just to stock up during this period and to also buy fuel. She however also noted that since yesterday a lot of people had to run their generators from dawn to dusk because there has been no electricity.

Ameh said that the situation is so bad and that the government should at least leave the light now that everybody is at home and have nowhere to go.
