Today 16th April is my birthday but I will not celebrate – Actress Rita Edochie says, reveals she will pray for Nigeria

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie is celebrating her birthday on Thursday, April 16, 2002, but the actress said that she will not be hosting a party to mark her big day.

Usually, celebrities take lovely photos and invite family and friends to celebrate their birthdays but since the coronavirus pandemic struck, many celebrities have not been found celebrating. For Rita Edochie, she revealed that she will be using the occasion of her birthday to pray for the country.

According to her, she is not happy with the situation of things happening across nations.

“I will be on my knees praying to God Almighty for forgiveness. I beg of him to heal our land. There is so much agony in every home. Forgive us Lord in every way we have sinned against you please oh Lord,” she said.
