Daddy Showkey who is a veteran Nigerian ‘Galala’ singer has called for the legalization of marijuana, saying it’s not just for smoking, but has many medicinal purposes.
According to him, he has never smoked Indian Hemp in his life, but that legalizing it will help youths get jobs because it can be refined to different products.

Cannabis(Igbo) is not about smoking but it has many medicinal values that will profit our people. Our government should research about canabis” he wrote as he posted a video explaining his stand.
