Lagos State Police rescue Homeless mother-of-four after she gave birth by the roadside (Photo)

Men of the Lagos State Police Command, today rescued a homeless mother-of-four who gave birth to a baby girl by the roadside in broad daylight.

The kind police officers cleaned the newborn baby up and took her, her mother, and the four older children to the Eti-Osa Primary Healthcare Centre.

The Lagos State Police Command, while giving an update via their official Twitter handle, shared photos of the mother and child, writing; “Our officers in Ikate Elegushi got a distress call this morning for assitance of a homesless mother of four who gave birth to a baby girl on the road. Our officers got to the scene and evacuated the new born and mother with her four children to Eti-Osa Primary Health Care Centre.”
