Nigerian businesswoman Ronke Funktionals is reportedly dead
Popular Ibadan/Lagos businesswoman, Ms Ronke aka Funktional, has died.
The mother-of-two, who ran a chain of boutiques, alleged slumped inside her car on Friday night in Ibadan, Oyo State.
It was gathered she was found with her head resting on the steering wheel and was subsequently rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
The sad news was broke on Saturday afternoon by Ronke’s close friend, and Nollywood actress, Nkechi Sunday on her verified Instagram Page.
Although the events surrounding Ronke’s demise are still unknown, Nkechi described the death as painful, consoling herself on the fact that she was able to play a positive role in Ronke’s life.
She wrote, “I need answers! Ibadan people what happened to her pls? This is too much to bear, pls someone, anyone talk to me.
“@funktionals pls reply to my DM and tell me this is not true pls. We had a lot of plans and set out goals, what happened? Pls Ibadan people talk to me, my heart is broken, pls.”
In another post, Nkechi Sunday added, “This life, absolutely no one knows tomorrow. Why not live your life spreading love and happiness instead of HATE and BITTERNESS…
“At least I was privileged to put a smile on your face while you were alive?… Rest in peace Aunty Ronke Ceo @funktionals till we meet to part no more❤️…This one pains me.”
