“Police are the biggest and worst gang in America” – Kehlani says as she calls for action following the death of George Floyd
Kehlani has referred to the American police as the “biggest and worst” gang in America following the recent incident of police brutality.
The American singer took to Twitter to write: “Police are the biggest and worst gang in America. Death to the f***ing badge. No words beyond it. Zero.”
Her tweet comes after the death of George Floyd, a Black man who was brutally murdered when a police officer knelt on his neck for more than six minutes, even as he cried that he couldn’t breathe.
A number of people have called out the police for brutality, following George’s death. Even Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, took to Instagram to express outrage over police brutality on Black men.
