Former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi laid to rest in Ibadan, Oyo state
Former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has been laid to rest in Ibadan, Oyo state today Sunday, June 27.
The immediate past Governor who died on Thursday, June 25 in Lagos from COVID-19 complications, was buried at his 6th Avenue, Yemoja Street, Oluyole Estate residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, according to Islamic rites.
The funeral which was conducted in line with NCDC guidelines for the burial of COVID-19 patients was attended by his wife Florence Ajimobi and other members of his family, all not more than 20 in number.
