Man shares picture of how late Stephen Keshi’s Grave looks like
Trending on social media is the picture posted by TV presenter Wole Opatola purportedly showing the graveside of late Super Eagles legend and coach Stephen Keshi.
Keshi who led Nigeria to an unbelievable Africa Cup of Nations glory in 2013 died on June 7, 2016, in Benin and laid to rest on July 29, 2016, in his home town Illah, Delta state.
The burial brought together his former teammates, family and friends, who were on hand to pay tribute to a man who was popularly called the “Big Boss” or ‘Skippo’.
However, four years after his death, a picture posted by Opatola has caused an uproar on social media as fans continue to react to the picture purportedly showing the grave of the former captain.
The picture shows a seemingly neglected site where the pane with which the inscription ‘Skippo’ looks to be rusting away.
“Who’s to blame? In the countries we will readily point to, the dead are buried in cemeteries and the family looks after the grave,” NPFL stakeholder Harry Iwuala replied.
