Thank God Abiola didn’t become President - Nigerians blast Jamiu Abiola

One of the sons of the late MKO Abiola, Jamiu Abiola has been attacked on social media by Nigerians after he mentioned that President Muhammadu Buhari has the same agenda as his father.

Speaking in an interview to mark the Democracy Day yesterday, Jamiu said: “My father and this President primarily have the same objective.”

Reacting to his statement, some social media users stated that it was all good his father never became President if that was the though Jamiu had.

Here are some reactions:

@Angelsgo2, “Thank God your father never became president.”

@Nj99625368, “If the agenda your father had was to make Nigeria insecure for its citizens, then no wonder Babangida did not allow him to have a taste of his triumph. We must be wasting our time trying to remember him today then.”
