Best-selling author and former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri, during a live chat with Daddy Freeze, argued that people of modern-day Ijebus are the Jebus mentioned in the Bible.
According to Reno Omokri, the modern-day Ijebus were the original occupants of Jerusalem, Jebus which is a bastardized version of “Ijebu-Isale”
