#BBNaija 2020: Big Brother Nigeria Lockdown Housemates lose first Wager

Big Brother Naija season 5 “Lockdown” housemates had their first wager challenge on Thursday, 23rd July 2020. The challenge was tagged “How well do you know yourselves?”.

Before the start of the game, Biggie informed the housemates of the rules of the game and also divided them into 2 groups using their gender; the female housemates vs the male housemates.

According to the rules of the game, each housemate will pick a question about the opposite sex and answer the question base on the information the picked housemate has given in the house. For each correctly answered question, the housemate gets 1 point and this point is added to the total point of his/her gender.

The housemates were also instructed not to try to help the housemate on the spot.

To win their wager they are to win a total of 30 points out of possible 40. Unfortunately for the housemates, they were only able to garner 17 points at the end of the challenge.

Nengi got one answer correct; however, she was penalised for trying to help Ozo during his time on the spot.

The punishment for losing their wager is that the housemates shopping allowance will remain the same with no additional allowance from Biggie this week.

Additionally, Biggie informed the housemates that the gender with the most points will be treated nicely the following week. The ladies edged the lads with 10 points to 7.

The housemates need to try to get to know themselves again, evidently, they don’t know themselves enough to win their wager.
