Gunmen cart away with vital documents at Federal Medical Centre, Kogi state
Gunmen have carted away with sensitive materials after they attacked the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Lokoja, Kogi State, in the early hours of today July 1, 2020.
According to reports, the gunmen carted away with computers, laptops, and phones of staff and patients as well as other sensitive materials from the administrative department of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Lokoja, Kogi State.
The management of the hospital had scheduled press briefing where they were to demand a COVID-19 screening centre in the state and also state challenges health workers were facing in the state as regards the COVID-19 pandemic.
The men who were said to be over 10 in number, allegedly operated for over 30minutes unhindered.
