UK-Based Nigerian Doctor shares success story as she gets her first payslip two years after initially failing to get her Medical License
A UK-based Nigerian Doctor has taken to her Twitter page to share her success story and it has inspired netizens.
Bukola Abubakar gave a quick summary of how her life changed in a space of two years simply because she did not give up.
According to her, in 2018, she failed a medical licensing exam that was worth 4000£ and it was a low point in her life. However, she tried again in 2019, got the license and now in June 2020, she got a job and recently collected her first payslip.
Bukola shared a beautiful photo of herself in her work attire and wrote ;
In 2018 I failed the Step 2 of the UK Medical licensing exam,(worth 4000£) consequently, I was drenched in my own tears.
In 2019 I passed !!
2020 January I got my full license to practice in the United Kingdom.
2020 June, I got my first job, and just got my first payslip today!
I’m still in Awe and I feel like screaming!
I just wanted to let you know that no matter the struggle you are going through currently, it won’t last forever and your time to excel would come. And remember that the good book says ‘weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning’ Don’t give up just yet.
