#BBNaija 2020: Big Brother introduces New Process of Eviction
Big Brother has changed the process of the eviction in this year edition of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.
For the first 5 weeks of the show, the eviction process was to put all housemates up for possible eviction except for Head of House and Deputy Head of House then on Sunday, the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will call out 4 housemates with the least number of votes. After that, the saved housemates will be called into the Diary Room to nominate 2 housemates from the bottom 4 that they want to be evicted from the show.
After the nomination process, the housemate(s) with the highest number of nominations will be evicted from the show.
However, during this weeks Sunday Night Live Eviction show, the show host, Ebuka informed the viewers that starting from tomorrow the nomination process will be reverted to the conventional way.
The conventional process of eviction involves housemates being called into the Diary Room on Monday to nominate 2 housemates they want to be evicted from the show, after which Biggie will tabulate the numbers and the housemates with the highest number of nominations will be put up for possible eviction for the week before the voting lines will open for the viewers to vote.
The old process of eviction has been used 5 times and 6 housemates have been evicted using it.
