Our economy is too fragile to bear another COVID-19 lockdown – Pres. Buhari
Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has said Nigerians must do all they can to prevent another wave of coronavirus in Nigeria.
The Presidency explained that this is important because the country cannot bear another round of lockdown due to the fragile economy.
His post on Twitter read ;
“Looking at the trends in other countries, we must do all we can to avert a second wave of Covid-19 in Nigeria. We must make sure that our cases, which have gone down, do not rise again. Our economy is too fragile to bear another round of lockdown.”
