#SURULEREPROTEST – ”The protesters will be released tonight.” – Governor Sanwo-Olu

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Sanwo-Olu has addressed the unfortunate situation that played out during the #ENDSARS protest at Surulere, Lagos State.

Sanwo-Olu revealed that he was meeting with the Lagos Commissioner of Police and assured that the arrested protesters will be released.

His tweets read;

I am meeting with the Lagos CP. Protesters will be released and broader issues will be addressed in my meeting with the President tomorrow. Let us take a break from protests tomorrow and give us a chance to take tangible next steps.
