This is not true, we came back from Dubai together – Protester accuses DJ Cuppy of lying that she can’t protest because she’s in self-isolation
A man simply known as Ola has taken to Twitter to call out popular Nigerian Disc Jockey over her statement that she is unable to join the ongoing protests against police brutality because she’s in self-isolation.
Recall that the billionaire daughter left Dubai on Saturday and flew to Nigeria to join the #EndSARS protest, but on arriving, the DJ claimed that she was advised to self-isolate for 7 days.
“After rushing to fly back home; wandering why you haven’t seen me out protesting? …Since arriving in Lagos “THEY” have warned that I MUST self-isolate for 7 days due to Nigerian #COVID19 laws or face prosecution!” she wrote.
However, Ola who claimed to have been on the same flight from Dubai with Cuppy, called her out, saying she is lying about being under quarantine.
The young man also said that he protested on Sunday and he was only able to do so because he had already been certified fit for socialization and travel after being tested for COVID-19 in the middle-eastern city.
Ola wrote; “cuppy me and you came back from dubai yesterday. i protested today! this is not true you are required to do a covid test in the country you are flying from!
“you can’t even fly out of dubai without a covid test. what is all this?
“covid test result takes less than 24 hours to come out in dubai.”
