We Did Not Shoot #EndARS Protesters -IGP Claims, Replies Amnesty

The Inspector General Of Police, Mohammed Adamu replied to the civil right body, Amnesty that the police did not shoot any #EndARS protesters.

Adamu said this in a Tweet thread on the official handle of the Nigeria Police Force.

The IGP further states that the Nigeria Police force personnel acted professionally and exercised commendable restraints during the #EndARS protest.

He also recounts that some member of the force paid the supreme price of losing the lives while ensuring peace restored in the country.

According to the IGP statement on the microblogging site, Twitter he said report available to him reveals that 22 police personnel were killed by ‘some rampaging protesters and scores injured during the protest.
