Singer, Yemi Alade, addresses those saying Beyoncé is a ‘culture vulture’
Singer Yemi Alade has said in a fresh interview that a superstar like Beyonce cannot tour Africa because of our low standard of living- so to speak.
The Nigerian Afrobeat singer, who is currently on a media tour to draw more attention to her new single ‘Empress’ appeared on Beat FM where she said Beyonce cannot tour Nigeria because of the underdevelopment in Africa.
She said;
There is no standard. If you’re working with someone like Beyonce, you need to bring the standard all the way. You wan make car jam her or make she just get an accident, the hospital no go fit treat her, we go con lose Beyonce for Africa. I think when we think about certain things, we need to apply it to our reality.
