Yul Edochie pens an emotional birthday message to Sam Dede
Yul Edochie, the son of a Nollywood legend, Pete Edochie, who has won lots of awards and accolades in the Nigerian movie industry has respectfully paid a birthday tribute to the renowned Nigerian filmmaker, Sam Dede.
Samuel Dedetoku, well known by his legendary move, ISSAKABA is a veteran actor, lecturer and politician. He is regarded as one of the richest and influential actors in Nigeria. The veteran has celebrated his fifty-fifth birthday to remember the day he first entered this earth.
His student, Yul Edochie, son of the veteran actor, Pete Edochie, has celebrated his lecturer at the University for his remarkable impartation of knowledge in his life. Yul Edochie has revealed that Sam Dede taught him Acting at the Theatre of Art, Port Harcourt University in Nigeria.
He added that Sam Dede laid his acting foundation and when you have such a man as your lecture, you will never fail.
His post reads;
He was my lecturer in the University of Port Harcourt, Theatre Arts Department.
He taught us Acting.
He laid the foundation for my successful acting career.
How can you fail when you have such a Legend as your lecturer.
How???
At the bottom of his question papers, he’ll always write “Break a Leg” a theatrical saying which means “Good Luck”.
