4 men arrested for stealing church instruments

4 young men, identified as Stephen Frimpong, Anane Blabo, Bismarck Adu and Kofi Adu reportedly burgled a church and carted away church instruments.

It was gathered that the four suspects reportedly broke into two churches, Assemblies of Church and Open Bible Church in the Akyem Ofoase community and looted the churches’ keyboard and amplifiers.

The men were nabbed while taking the stolen appliances to Akyem Oda market to sell them and has since been detained at Akyem Ofoase Police in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

It was learnt that the suspect Kofi Adu, is a 30-year-old driver, his accomplices, Stephen Frimpong, a 27-year-old farmer, Anane Blabo, a 25-year-old illegal miner operator and Bismarck Adu, a 25-year-old jobless man

Akyemansa District Police Commander, DSP Ransford Nsiah who confirmed the arrest said the suspects are to be arraigned in court today, January 15th.
