Aisha Yesufu Recognized By BBC As One Of 100 Most Influential Women In The World

Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu has taken to her social media page and expressed her support for individuals who wish to dress according to their choice of appearance.

The outspoken woman while sharing her opinion about dressing said, “I wear the hijab and cover all of my body.”

Stating further Aisha said, “I do not subscribe to opening my body. Those who decide to be nudist have a right to not wearing any clothes at all and I will fight for their right to not wear any clothes at all. It is their choice just as it is my choice to be covered.”

In another news, One of the frontliners of the EndSARS protests and popular activist, Aisha Yesufu, has called on Northern musicians, actors and celebrities to demand that the President acts for the lives of people in the Northern region to matter following the abduction of 333 boys in Katsina.

Aisha made the call while reacting to the worsening security condition in the region.

Posting via her Twitter handle on Wednesday morning December 16, Aisha wrote;

” Where are the Kannywood people? Where are the Northern musicians? Where are the Northern celebrities? Where are the Northern youth? Where is Arewa Twitter? Time to demand lives to matter. Start online and move to the streets. The world will join and force Buhari to act!”
