Davido apologises to fan who expressed disappointment over his tweet
DMW boss, Davido has apologized to a fan who expressed disappointment over his latest tweet, mocking other brands and their ambassadors.
Davido who is a brand ambassador of Infinix had earlier taken to his verified Twitter account to take a jab at other phone brands in the country and their ambassadors.
His tweet read,
If you like hire 100 ambassadors. Your phone no go sell pass Infinix for this naija. Your brand no go trend more than Infinix in this Africa ! No dey talk too much ! Tule jare!!
#InfinixAndDavido”.
The singer’s tweet stirred reactions and a fan expressed his disappoint as he tags the tweet “insensitive”.
In his words,
“What kind of insensitive tweet is this… OBO this is pure shit I’m highly disappointed smmmhhh”
In reaction, the humble father of three apologized and explained his reason for making such a post.
he wrote,
