Davido declares support for Bobi Wine in the on-going Ugandan presidential election

Popular music executive, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has publicly declared support for Bobi Wine, one of the Ugandan Presidential candidates.

The singer took to Instagram to share a campaign flyer of the politician, accompanied with a praying emoji.

The Presidential election is slated to hold today, January 14, 2021.

The eleven candidates who are contesting for the presidential position are; Yoweri Museveni -National Resistance Movement, Bobi Wine -National Unity Platform, John Katumba -Independent, Willy Mayambala -Independent, Fred Mwesigye -Independent, Henry Tumukunde -Independent, Joseph Kabuleta -Independent, Nancy Kalembe -Independent, Patrick Oboi Amuriat -Forum for Democratic Change, Mugisha Mumtu -Alliance for National Transformation and Nobert Mao -Democratic Party.

Davido recently reacted to the viral video that captured the moment a Presidential aspirants wife, Bobi Wine was arrested.

According to reports, the Ugandan police force carried out an arrest on the wife of a Presidential aspirant who has the support of the people.

In the viral video, Bobi Wine’s wife was dragged, stripped, and tortured in the presence of her son who struggled to rescue his mum while screaming, “leave my mummy.”

In reaction, the popular Nigerian singer and songwriter expressed utter disgust at the abuse of power and the violation of human rights.

“Jesus !! This is disgusting ! this is so so bad !! POWER IS A DRUG !!”. He tweeted.
