Weeks have gone by since Nigerian singer, Omah Lay was arrested in Uganda alongside Tems for violation the country’s COVID-19 protocols and the singer has come out to say he has no regrets.

Recall that the singer and colleague Tems dominated news headlines after they were arrested by Ugandan police. The two had been accused of going against COVID-19 restrictions and charged to court for negligently getting involved in acts that could aid the spread of an infectious disease.”I don’t regret going to Uganda I would love to go back just to see those people again” - Omah Lay

However, patriotic efforts from fans and the Nigerian authorities expedited their release and they were back on home soil.

Omah Lay was a recent guest on Rubbin Minds show and he had a lot to talk about with the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

According to the ‘LoLo’ crooner, he does not have any regrets for attending the concert in the East African country.

The singer also noted that he would love to be back in Uganda just to spend more time with the fans who showed him so much, love.
