Pigeons also refuse to fly at the Armed Forces Remembrance day celebration in Imo state (Video)
The 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Nigeria is trending on social media with an unusual development.
Aside from the pigeons in Abuja not flying after President Buhari freed them during the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration, the ones in Imo state also refused to fly when they were released by the state governor, Hope Uzodinma, during the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration in Owerri, the state capital on Friday, January 15.
As it is the tradition, Governor of Imo state Hope Uzodinma opened the birdcage at the National Arcade, picked up one of the doves, and threw it into the air but the bird landed atop the cage and refused to fly.
