Former Arsenal defender, Sokratis Papastathopoulos has officially joined Olympiacos on a deal until the summer of 2023

The 32-year-old Greek international had been looking for a new club after his contract was terminated by the Gunners by mutual consent last week.

Now, Sokratis has returned to his homeland to sign for Olympiacos on a free transfer after ending his Arsenal contract six months early. He’s signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Olympiacos and is expected to earn €1.5million a year, including bonuses.
