It seems the divide will forever remain until the end of days between Davido and Wizkid likewise their fans and followers.
Netizens especially citizens of the microblog country Twitter have descended on OBO, maker of the A Better Time Album claiming the album flopped and Davido has tactically switched the conversation of his failure and put attention on his father.
Davido, in one of his recent tweet, disclosed that his father used to work at a fast-food restaurant in the US before becoming rich and wealthy as he is today.
Davido’s father David Adedeji Adeleke is a Nigerian billionaire, business magnate, founder and president of Adeleke University.
He is also the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited. He is the father of Adewale Adeleke, Davido, a Nigerian musician and Sharon Adeleke.
Since Davido rose to stardom, it’s been unfortunate some people have attributed his hard work to he’s invested in his music career to the riches of his father.
According to some people, Davido was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and he had the easy way to make his way through to the top because of his father’s riches and didn’t work hard enough as his fellow musicians in Nigerian Music Industry.
After Davido tweeted about the hustle of his father, netizens rain on him and gave reasons why he’s not a good musician and accused him of blaming tactics.
