Tithing Is Not A Church Doctrine -Bishop Oyedepo Claims

For decades, numerous Nigerians have been scrutinizing the need of tithing in numerous places of worship in Nigeria, with numerous individuals saying tithing isn’t right and individuals shouldn’t be constrained by the congregation to pay tithes, while so many others actually feel there isn’t anything wrong in paying to offer.

However, pastor David Oyedepo said something on Twitter about tithing that generated mixed reactions from his followers on Twitter.

David Oyedepo is a preacher, Christian author and the presiding bishop of Living faith church worldwide know as winners chapel, today, he took to his verified Twitter account to share his own thoughts concerning tithing in the church.

According to the post Pastor David shared, he maintained that tithing is not a church doctrine, that rather it is the covenant of the kingdom that launches the believer into realms of financial prosperity. He equally opined that tithing is a kingdom mystery that confers us with mastery over our finances.
