Amaechi denies saying Buhari’s government has been printing money

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has denied an audio conversation saying that Buhari’s administration has been printing money into the economy.

Reacting to the audio claim, Amaechi through his media aide Taiye Elebiyo-Edeni denied the allegations as he urges the public to disregard the false statement.

He also satiated he has not handled any financial institution and therefore does not qualify to speak on the issue causing printing of money.

“I have never headed any financial institution in the country and therefore did not qualify as an authority in the issues that concerns printing of money into the economy.

“I advise Nigerians who want information on printing of money to find out from the appropriate agency and not circulate false statement to gain cheap publicity.” The statement reads.
