Hadiza Bala Usman: Buhari suspends Nigerian Ports Authority boss
President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended Hadiza Bala Usman as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
The suspension was announced on Thursday, May 7 by the presidency. However, no reason was given for the suspension of Usman who was recently reappointed for another five-year.
On February 27, Usman criticized the government over the insecurity of the North. In her tweet, she called for the release of Kagara boys and Zamfara girls.
