A Nigerian man identified as Olusegun Adeniyi is being hailed across social media after building a free school for the less privileged kids in his neighbourhood.

Tope Fasua, a former presidential aspirant made the disclosure on Facebook. According to him, Adeniyi noticed that the children were not attending schools so he decided to build one beside his house in Abuja.

Fasua shared photos of the school which he says currently houses about 70 students.

In his words:

“Each one, give a little. This is the school started by a journalist, Mr Segun Adeniyi, near his house in Abuja. He noticed that there were so many children around living in the shanties around, who do not attend schools, so he put up a small shack on one of the lands nearby.

The shack is growing. The children could be as many as 70 now. They all attend school for free. I was touched. His wife takes time from her insurance job to supervise and teach them. I believe we still have much space for rapprochement if we continue to give. We can triumph.”
