“She was making my manhood rise spiritually” – Man who killed and beheaded his aunt in Cross River claims she belonged to the marine world

Nigerian manChristian Edem-Eyo, 34, who killed and beheaded his aunt in Cross River state has revealed the reason why he killed her.

It was earlier reported that the suspect murdered Uduak Effiong Okpo, 65, in cold blood and buried her head and body separately on June 23.

The suspect was paraded before newsmen on Tuesday, July 6, in Calabar, where he claimed that he killed his aunt because she belonged to the “marine world” and was terrorizing him spiritually.

Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), he said, “I killed Uduak Okpo because she belonged to the marine world. She was terrorising me spiritually in the compound.
She was making my manhood to rise spiritually, that was why I killed her.”

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Sikiru Akande, disclosed that the suspect would soon be charged to court.
