#BBNaija 2021: Liquorose beats Pere & Emmanuel to become the Fifth Head of House in Big Brother Naija Season 6

The housemates of the Big Brother Naija season 6: Shine Ya Eye had their fourth Head of House Challenge in the house today Monday, 23rd August 2021 with Maria taking the crown.

The challenge was similar to the HOH game the housemates have been participating in from the start of the season. It is a Snake and Ladder-esque game with 35 steps to finish the game but instead of Snakes on the board, the housemates have to avoid coloured obstacles. The time to complete the game is 60 seconds.

This week game requires 6 to start and there are multiple obstacles on the board with the 2 most dangerous ones (Game Over and Start Over) on points 8 and 12 respectively. Other obstacles are represented by colours, Yellow, Blue, Green and Orange. The setback the colour represent are,

Blue: Drink a bottle of water before continuing.

Green: find and mark a word in a crossword puzzle

Orange: Fetch a ballon from the ballon pit, pop it with your fingers.

Yellow: Roll a ball from point A to the net using your hand.

With their scores, Liquorose went the farthest in the game, therefore, the winner of today’s challenge. She was given the emblem of authority by Maria immediately and with her win comes immunity from possible eviction this week, HOH lounge even though she won’t be sleeping there because she has been barred for breaking the rules, Veto Power (Save and replace) and the power to pick a deputy that will enjoy some of the benefits with her.

Liquorose is the fifth HOH after Peace who won the first HOH challenge, Boma who was the second HOH and Pere who was the third and Maria who is the incumbent that handed over.
